RBDMS WellFinder enables users to pinpoint and select wells to reveal valuable data and information. Users have the capability to search for wells to uncover API (permit) numbers, well types (oil, gas, injection, etc.), well statuses (active, plugged), operator contact details, recent and historical production figures, as well as regulatory and emergency contacts.

RBDMS WellFinder is a creation of the esteemed Ground Water Protection Council Risk-Based Data Management System, which furnishes robust analytical tools for state regulatory programs and the general public.

Established in 1992, RBDMS is led by participating state regulators, along with GWPC personnel and overseen by a state steering committee.

	<li>Over twenty regulatory agencies nationwide have selected RBDMS as their preferred client/server data information management system for monitoring oil, gas, injection well, and source water protection endeavors.</li>
	<li>Through its utilization of non-proprietary software and its adaptability to accommodate variations in state regulatory programs, RBDMS is instrumental in evaluating and lessening risks to underground sources of drinking water. It furnishes information about oil and gas well locations, permitting, and production to both the public and industry owners through its web interfaces.</li>

The Ground Water Protection Council is a nonprofit 501(c)6 organization whose membership comprises state groundwater and underground injection control regulatory entities that converge within the GWPC entity to collaboratively strive for safeguarding the nation's groundwater reservoirs. GWPC's objective is to champion and ensure the adoption of superior management practices and just yet efficacious laws concerning comprehensive groundwater protection.
